Poll of the Day > Woot, I'm playing Beat Saber/working out again!!

Been about 2 months where I have had a serious cough/congestion and pneumonia....so no working out, but even though i'm still coughing a bit, and still spit up after I eat etc, I'm feeling good eeough to work out again, which will probably burn the rest off.

Just in time in case all my precations fail and I get this virus, if I can at least get rid of the current problem with my lungs first, I think I'll have a decent chance (Especially if i'm actually working out before hand.)

Was not going to be good if I got it while coughing already, no exercise for 2 months and feeling horrid before even getting the virus!!

So glad to be back playing!!

Beat saber is worth $100+ it's the best way to exercise. The switch game is good, but more like a traditional game, with pretty much traditional exercise as your method of attack etc. You can watch people play it on twitch. If I had a switch (and I will get one fairly soon) I'd probably get it just for the fitness aspects. The gameplay is very basic turn based rpg setup, very basic, but with sit ups, knee lifts, crunches, squats etc as your method of attack.

Not horrid, but no beat saber.

Beat saber is you, using 2 lightsabers, doing heavy areobics while slashing things coming at you in VR, it's freaking awesome, what you see online is nothing like actually being in the headseat playing the game. I freaking dance while playing it, it rocks. I can exercise 2 hours doing beat saber and not even notice it (other then the drenching sweat lol).

Love the game.
