Did you guys know you can make free money by buying fruit at your shop for 400 and going to a friends island with a different fruit and selling for 500? Then you can buy their fruit for 400 and come back to your island and sell it for 500. ITS FREE MONEY

I did it once for the lulz but im not gonna do it again, too tedious. Are they just gonna leave that available?

ok so right now I think I have 30 inventory slots. Each slot can hold 10 fruit. So I guess I could get 30,000 profit per trip, but how long would it take to button through all the conversation to purchase that fruit?
seems super tedious but maybe quick enough to be more profitable than catching bugs and fish?

I would guess it took somewhere between 5-15 minutes per trip. you can only buy them in increments of 5 at the store, so since they stack to 10, you gotta buy it 60 times. It can sell all at once though.

So I just found out that you can get unlimited amount of branches from a single tree.

I realized this after going to every single tree and not picking up the branches so I know which tree I've shaked and collected from, until something compelled me to shake a tree that I had already collected from.

The thing that messes me up the most is throwing my line out of sight of the fish and wanting to reposition but then the fish turns to the bait at the last second and is scared off.

Hmm, was told on the NH message board that reposition and scaring the fish off that way does not break your streak, can anyone confirm this?

119 caught, 37 unique. Hit 50 in a row today and haven't caught anything since. I think your streak might only be broken when the fish actually grabs your lure and then you don't tap fast enough, as I'm sure I've tapped early and scared the fish away within the last 50, but uh, I'm not gonna test that. Wanna get 100, so I can not worry about it anymore.

its super annoying that getting the store built made selling things less convenient. The 20% cut the drop off box takes is so dang much, so I was just leaving a ton of animals outside the store to sell in the morning and now im like halfway to paying off the new loan

I had, among other things, 40 hermit crabs stacked up. Also three oarfish. It was absurd.

woof I didn't even realize the 20% cut the drop box takes, I just got ~74k from Nook's put in my bank account and I was all excited but that means I had like 18k loss :(

geez if anything you should get a % boost for the inconvenience of waiting the til morning for your money... really no reason to use the drop box if don't even get the money right away

My turnip prices are also 105. Seems a bit high...I might not go too hard on them. I have 60k and I'm really close to paying off my first house.

though I guess with the advent of the internet buying turnips isn't a huge risk as long as you find someone with good prices that week

Stacks of 10 like fruit. Oh but each individual "turnip" is 10 turnips so I guess technically stacks of 100.

Also the museum is so incredible. I love the bit in the fossil exhibit where they show the evolutionary line of a bunch of species, and then it lights up if you stand in the spot for humans.

Well they'll still rot after a week if you don't sell them. But you can't store them and you can't sell them on Sundays, so dropping them somewhere is literally the only option.
