However the big thing is you can instead focus on trying to be successful financially and get success that way. There are no shortage of ugly rich guys with wives/mistresses way hotter than what most poor attractive guys could ever get. Get a hobby, become interesting, and put yourself in a position to converse with others. I literally met my SO at anime club. Find someone with similar interests and tastes to you and make a positive connection. You don't need to score every shot, you just need to make one goal. If you can't do that now, work on ways to get better at it.
