Freya got done dirty by Square. She's pretty darn cool when you meet her in Lindblum - especially when you get to team up with her during the hunt - and when you see Burmecia after Alexandria wrecks it, it hit me pretty hard. Add to that a decent "looking for her lost romantic partner" story and Freya was shaping up to add well the FF9's cast. And then the writers just... forgot she existed. For the entire rest of the game. The smallest of bones get thrown now and then, but nothing comes of it, and she's eventually as much of a "nothing" character as Amarant. TheArkOfTurus posted... Loveliest Rock in Gaming Well, I think Lyse (FF14) looks great in her new outf-- Wait. You meant a literal rock, not just someone with the personality of one. I guess Air's Rock (Golden Sun: The Lost Age) had some cool puzzles and stuff. That's all that comes to mind right now since I couldn't think of any particularly "lovely" golem creatures off the top of my head, and the whole point of this topic series is me not putting a ton of effort in. hombad46 posted... You'll just find him chilling on top of Mount Silver. When you reach him, the only sound is the wind. No words are shared, for there is nothing to say. From the moment you sought him out, there was only one reason for you both to be there. I don't know if it holds up now, of course, but it blew 10-year-old me's mind. Cavedweller2000 posted...
