Apparently a disgruntled employee has released major leaks, due to the supposed sjw nature of the game and general mistreatment / pay discrepancies. Doesn't seem like people are too keen on the leaks. Honestly, I think the first one is one of the most overrated games in history. The story is messy; they should have either focused on the virus or government control, shoehorning in both was a mistake and a total suspension of disbelief. Like there's this airborne toxin that has like a 99% infection rate, and we're supposed to believe that not only can a society exist, but it's being oppressed, not likely. I wasn't too impressed with the gameplay either, yeah there are also 0 bullets around somehow, but some slightly bigger than average guy is able to sneak up and silently disarm 100s of guards and infected, get real. Most of the time, you're just stacking boxes to climb shit, completely overrated.

Anyway, as for the leaks. Joel is ko'd by a transwoman halfway through the game because he killed her father, then you play as said woman, trying to kill Elle. Eventually you do, she realizes revenge isn't good and now she'll probably be killed by Elle's friends. Seems like a complete slap in the face to anyone who likes these characters from the first. Definitely won't be buying it, but I'm curious to see if this causes it to bomb.

Why would I pay money for a mediocre movie that shits all over the first game? Uncharted 4 was cringeworthy with Nadine and the ending, but it was still good enough for me to not care about that too much. I will not be giving my money to Druck the Cuck.

The first game sucked ass with a horrible story that involved a little girl just to tug at peoples' heart strings and cover up the fact that the story is shit.
Only people that fell for the trap of the little girl in distress story liked the first one, and I was not one of those people.

Nah. I played the first game a few years after release and didn't get all the hype. The only things I liked were the protags and they ruined that for the sequel so that's killed the little interest I had left.
