Is the sequel as good as the original? Im enjoying the first and have over 60 hrs in it without curing the infection or leaving the planet

I'm not touching sub zero until it's finished. I think it would spoil it for me to play a half baked game.

It looks stunning, though. I don't like the fact that the protagonist is an actual character this time, but I guess there's a narrative reason.
