23 y/o Ryan Jaselskis, an aspiring MODEL who will now have to model in an orange jumpsuit and has a history of mental illness was sentenced to 4 YEARS in the big house after he tried to burn down COMET PING PONG PIZZA SHOP when it became the target of Pizzagate scandal in 2016!!

He plead guilty to arson and assault on police when they tried to detain him.

Both prosecutors and defense agreed to the sentence and was accepted by US District Judge Timothy J Kelly

The restaurant was the target of conspiracy theoriests from Alex Jones to 4chan that Democrats, including Hillary Clinton and John Podesta were running a child sex ring

Edgar Maddison Welch also entered the pizzeria with an AR-15 file after investigating the "viral internet rumour" in an attempt to enter the basement to "save the childreN"

The defense argued he was suffering mental illness but the prosecutor disagreed based on his actions that was caught on camera

The unfounded conspiracy theory amde headlines when conservatives rallied the notion that the secret pizza place was holding kids hostages

James Alfantis said he hopes the incident would be remembered as an abberration when lies were seen as real and social fabric had been frayed and his workers still did their jobs from the experience of a gunman and then an arsonist

Jaselskis said he was "so so sorry. i am taking full responsibility for my actions. it has never been in my nature to harm anyone or engage in violence..it breaks my hearts i acted in such a manner that goes against my upbringing and values".

Alex Jones should be in jail. Shouting "fire!" in a crowded theater isn't free speech, nor is lying to thousand of people telling them there's a pedo ring in some pizza place and inviting all these threats and violence on them.

Because hyperbole doesn't constitute slander/libel. More importantly, Alex Jones stopped making those claims years ago and went so far as to disavow them, not to mention that Jones neither came up with the claim nor made it mainstream.

"Fire" in a movie theater is a cry almost anybody would take seriously and has immediate ramifications if it wasn't taken seriously. Claiming that a pizza parlor is involved in sex trafficking is a ludicrous claim that the vast majority of people won't take seriously and it lacks the same "cry wolf" implications of shouting "fire" since there's no ramification if the public chooses to ignore a future warning (because any location publicly avowed to be involved in sex trafficking would be investigated by authorities anyway)
