I watched the series during college but probably missed an episode here or there. Zeus posted... The show was on Nickelodeon, for starters. Perhaps I do not understanding the rating system well enough but I am surprised it was rated Y-7 and not PG or PG-13. I do not recall any actual killings on scene but there were plenty of implied deaths I recalled. Or maybe I am mentally whack enough to think there would be some deaths involved (i.e. ~~Fire Nation solders dropped into the ocean or in the crashing blimps~~). In terms of sexual content, The Beach was probably the only episode with any sort of PG-13 material I would say. --- "You must gather your party before venturing forth" "Go for the eyes Boo! Guess I can put it off until after Supernatural, considering I've put it off for years now and the beginning hasn't been great. Maybe I'll finally finish AHS: Hotel instead... or do a different AHS season because Hotel has been pretty awful. Wanded posted... is it worth it or should i stick to the cartoons? It has its moments. Season 1 is pretty good, season 2 is all over the place (although the Maniax were great), and... actually, I can just post what I said somewhere else: Zeus posted... I finished Gotham last night. Apparently the last season was only 12 episodes instead of the usual 22. Although the show was broadcast by Fox, it really felt like a CW production. There were elements that reminded me a lot of Smallville, partly because the chick playing Lee reminded me of Kristin Kreuk (Lana Lang, Smallville). Season 1 felt a lot more episodic with some running character storylines, whereas the seasons that followed seemed to try to have more continuity. While character personalities were pretty inconsistent, Barbara's was the absolute worst since she seemed to have at least one major personality change each season in addition to a new look. Besides the inconsistent writing, there was a decidedly inconsistent tone. Occasionally things got very grimdark and other times it felt campy and cartoonish, with things that would have felt at home in the Adam West Batman (such as goons reading comic books while holding somebody hostage. And the pice de rsistance? One of those times it was a book labeled Detective Comics!) Season 1 was great. Season 2 was a mess, although the Maniax were a nice touch. Season 3 started off stupid, but things really picked up later on. Season 4 was pretty fun; although it had some glaring problems, it might be my favorite season. Season 5 was just something of a waste, although the final episode was awesome. To my above remarks, I'll add that once they start to actually use the Riddler, he's pretty awesome. Penguin I wanted to like, but his storylines are just all over the place.
