I don't think I have any examples for myself. I enjoy old games I grew up with. Maybe some mechanics bug me more now like Pokemon caves.

Hate is a strong word, but I definitely will NOT be buying a nintendo 64 mini if it was ever a thing. Vast majority of N64 games aged really badly. (Same goes for a lot of the early 3D playstation 1 games). I can probably still play mario 64, some conker, banjo, and mario party 3, but a lot of the fps with their like, 15 fps is mad hard to go back to nowadays. That, and the one stick movement/using the c-buttons to aim).

MGS2. Tried replaying it the other week. Couldn't even bring myself to finish the Tanker.

I tried replaying Twisted Metal Black for the first time in a long while and just could not finish it. I would accidentally use special attacks when I did not need them and could not get them to work when I did.

I would not say that I hate it, but this proved to be annoying enough that I'm not sure I'll try it again. Feeling this way seems very weird to me when I consider how much I enjoyed it way back when.

Some stuff is definitely remembered better but sometimes it was all we had. It was Sonic Adventure or nothing. Not Sonic Adventure or 100's of other games.
