I think **b. An old HTML chat site back in 2002 that gave you a default name by throwing together random characters. After a month or two I changed it to 'Gandalf' because I was a LotR nerd.

It was called smile.com. I miss it sometimes. I found it on one of my first days with my new computer, typing random words into the URL box because I was a naive little bumpkin kid.

I was in 7th grade in 1997, fall. That's when we got the internet full time.

My dad had AOL in 1993 or 94, but it was a long distance phone call. We paid by the minute. So, we didn't keep it long. I never had the chance to do much with it. In 97, a local dial up exchange started, and we got the internet full time that fall.

I still distinctly remember getting home from a middle school football game in September. My dad didn't go. He surprised me and my mom when we got home with a new PC with internet. He was showing us a search engine called Excite and how you could chat on it. Around a week or two later, I got hooked up with a Tanarus account and started internet gaming.

The irony is our connection at the time was 33.3 k/bs. At my parents house, right now, their internet is 1.2m/b/s. Infrastructure in the Appalachian mountains does not improve fast ;_;

First one on here was avidgamer (all lowercase, not the current existing account), because Xenos and FireFox were taken.

I had used FireFox on console games since the early 90's because of the 1982 movie I loved.

From AOL. Nothing with Shaq worked so I went to the next thing, Onyx. Fredro Starr I didnt really see a name from that, so I went to the next guy .... Sticky Fingaz. Shortened sticky to styky, wanted a number at the end and because I was a kid I used 69.

My 2nd name was JstCrdble or something like that after Justin Credible. I3ballplaya32 came after that. SmokeDawg48 after that. SleepAt421 was another name I used.

My first account on here was pokefan7777. That was about 18 years ago. I think this was the first thing I ever needed an account for. I made the account to post on the pokemon sapphire board.

I got weird (I was 13) and just posted account information on a board (LUE I think) and didn't come back for about 2 years.
