Even though we literally live one block away from each other i see her like every 6 months at the most, i pretend i dont know her even though it hurts. She rejected me but her and her friends tried to get to talk to me again but i ignored it and i regret it. I think about her all the time i dont know why, i know its pathetic but its sad

I think my face showed sadness so her and her friends tried to get me to talk to her again and get interested but i shut it off and pretended it never happened, i acted pretty cold. you gotta address her objection (key word, is objection, not rejection) with confidence. a simple reframe like "well yeah, that's the point of hanging out, so we can get to know each other better...you seem compelling and i have a feeling it'd be a fun time"

also gotta work on how you ask her out, "let's go out sometime" is both too forward, too vague and too much pressure, she's think "this guy wants to start dating me" when you need to lower the bar/expectations to lower the pressure on her. asking her to grab food or something similar is much better in terms of managing expectations

also gotta work on when you ask her, shouldn't be the first thing out of your mouth when you start talking and it shouldn't be the last thing (ie too late in the convo when she is ready to leave). aim for a high point when she's already having a good time

of course, when you carry yourself with such confidence you better be able to back it up on the actual date. if you get the date, show up and are just a bag of bricks, you've just wasted every one's time. the more girls get to know me the more they like me and become attracted to me...but i know this as much as i know gravity exists. so you may wanna develop your personality a bit

Getting a girl is 99% attitude. You can be an unemployed slob, but if you treat a girl like a normal person and express interest clearly (without beating around the bush or wasting too much time trying to be 'friends first') you'll find one who likes you in no time.

It'll be ok bro at some point every guy feels like he'll never get over that one girl; (moreso if she's your first) but as you mature/age and get better at understanding relationships and how shit works you'll have no problem being rejected and moving on.
