When sites actually poll, both sides claim they are being censored pretty evenly. Also if sites actually were forced to moderate their stuff more as Trump wants, these complainers would get censored even more.

Right-leaning pages earned on average about 372,000 weekly interactions and left-leaning pages earned on average about 369,000 weekly interactions.

Partisan pages also outperformed pages that are not politically aligned, earning a piddling 283,000 weekly interactions. Evolution over God, contempt for believers.

Left wing ideas are so blatantly dominant in society its ridiculous its an argument. Unless you dont even realize how all the 'victories' have piled up yet things keep getting worse and they cant figure out why.

I'm not American, I was talking globally. Primarily western society. But the USA has a transphobic and misogynistic white supremacist administration and president. So saying the USA is progressive is laughable

I think he is relatively right though in terms of like, the general public facing side of society. The overall impression is of a widespread norm, well-understood by both liberals and conservatives, that we have a category of space we call neutral and depoliticized. These sorts of spaces include institutions as diverse as colleges, newspapers, workplaces, and conferences. And within these spaces, overt liberalism is tolerated but overt conservativism is banned. This justifies further purges in the mainstream liberal spaces, and the cycle goes on forever.

In the hospital where I work, theres a RESIST TRUMP poster on the bulletin board in our break room. I dont know who put it there, but I know that anybody who demanded that it be taken down would be tarred as a troublemaker, and anyone who tried to put a SUPPORT TRUMP poster up next to it would be lectured about how politics are inappropriate at work. This is true even though I think at least a third of my colleagues are Trump supporters.
