Some elements from those games can be reworked/implemented into the new games, but kick the rest into the bin. Crash went from one of the most iconic/popular game series of the late 90's to open world trash that was trying way too hard to be funny half of the time. I know some people like Twinsanity and Titans, but let's not pretend those games are flawless.
