Clawde, the lobster was in a pinch before he was sent to a Red Lobster in Ohio but luckily for him, the employees knew something wasn't right when they saw him and decided to give him a second chance at life The employee knew how rare blue american lobsters were as they occur in one in every 2 million as the blue colouration is the result of a genetic anomaly. The employees named him Clawde after their chain's mascot and refused to cook the crustracean Zoo officials learned of the situation when an employee called them at Monterey Bay Aquarium who then reached out to Akron Zoo. An animal care staff employee came to pick him up and prepared him for a new home as he is now enjoying freedom in a tank ans is acclimating to his new home He now resides the Komodo Kingdom building which is currently closed to guests due to COVID-19 Would you eat a blue lobster? Albino are apparently even more rare... Like a blue lobster is about 1 every 2 million. Albino is about 1 every 100 million...
