I still don't know if in the tail games you just have to press right trigger to steal a tail or hold it for a second...I still hold it, but maybe you just have to press it? Holding slows you down so this would be good to know.

Ugh, how reliably does it actually reward you when it disconnects and says you'll get it next login? It just did it three games in a row including my first win.

I've never been rewarded even once for a disconnect and those happened to me 10+ times the first day alone. And much more the next couple. Luckily never disconnected on a win like many folks in this topic. That's just cruel. Been disconnected on final rounds though.

Also yeah, the next thing they need to fix is uneven teams in Fall Ball, those just shouldn't exist. That said I finally won a game on a 5 person team against a 6. Goddamn that was a tense match. Bunch of good players right there and I got two goals.

I always see people saying Block Party is easy but I've never managed to survive it. I've gotten first on Slime Climb a few times now but I always manage to get knocked over and swept away in Block Party.

Also apparently it's possible to get stun-locked by that big propeller in Whirlygig because that happened to me tonight too

What part is giving you trouble? The first 90 seconds of Block Party shouldn't be hard. But then at the end it turns into the final gauntlet, if its the one where you have to keep moving left and right, you're gonna just get blocked in by the crowd sometimes and die no matter what you do. I try to just stay at the front, and only move as little as possible. (i.e. don't go all the way left or right, or else you won't be able to move back over)

Just stay in the very front of block party so you can see the next piece coming

I've survived Block Party maybe 20% of the time I've gotten it and the key to my survival personally is avoiding other dummies that will grab you and slow you down. Unfortunately there's no way to do this once you minigame herds everyone toward the center so just do your best to stay on your feet and pray.

I've gotten super good at Slime Climb and climbing up slime ramps in general thanks to tips in this topic. I even finished in first once so thanks y'all!

Block party is super easy if you just stay at the very front. Gives you the most reaction time and nobody gets in your way

Just failed at Block Party my last game because some loser grabbed me right before I had to jump over a hurdle. And with that a new herd-thinning strategy is learned. Y'all will regret this...

Speaking of strategy I have literally always been on the first qualifying team for the ball rolling game by virtue of my team actually working together to obtain the early lead so until yesterday I was completely oblivious to the fact that you could play defense on that and impede another team's progress. I watched the other two teams struggle to roll each other's balls back up the final ramp for like THREE MINUTES (an eternity in Fall Guys time) before one finally pulled away. It was thrilling to start with but then I was just eager to get to the damn final.

Also I ended up getting beat by someone called Nicktendo94 and thought it was SHINE for a split second.

I was originally really bad at Block Party but I can easily pass it most of the time now.

Roll Out though is just a disaster for me every time it comes up.

i don't tilt in this game, but the closest i've gotten has been in fall ball!

getting in position to block the ball, then having a teammate run under it and launch it backwards/over my head hurts my soul

dont remember seeing it mentioned in this topic but if you didnt know you can grab ledges and climb up. in whirlygig its sometimes easier to do that then jump on the yellow blocks at the end of the first section depending on how much of a clusterfuck it is

and i also only found out today you can climb on top of the wall shover things in slime climb. not sure on those strats but it might make the part with the gaps easier

I've had just one go 6 rounds. I think we had multiple games where not enough people were eliminated so the timer came on and ended it.

I will never cease to be amazed at how bad people are at see-saw. It seems by far the easiest stage to progress for me but seems so many others are so bad at it.

See Saw is no problem if you're in front and can get through fast, but if you get stuck with the morons who keep jumping onto one that's already almost vertical you can get really delayed

I was watching moonmoon play on twitch a week ago, and at the beginning of the see saw stage he realized he wanted to show his chat something unrelated in another window (and didn't care about abandoning the game, since it was stage 1 or 2 anyway, and he had only just spawned in).

I'd say about 45-90 seconds later, he alt tabbed back to fall guys, was still in the round, and decided to go ahead and see how far he could get in the stage...and he easily caught up, and finished it ahead of plenty of people...

So I'm awful at the tail final. All tail games are bad but especially that one. I'm not even sure what I'm really doing wrong, I'll play with my buddies and see them grab the tail when not even close to the guy, meanwhile I'll literally grab the tail player, get the grabbing animation and even see that circle that appears when you're grabbing someone, slow him down because he is being grabbed, and still not get the tail. I sent them a video last night when we were playing and they were just as confused as I was as to why I can never actually get the tail.

Anyway, yesterday in the 15 games we played, we got 9 tail finals, 2 hex a gone's, and 2 crown races, with the other 2 being games where none of us made the finals. Ridiculous. Apparently today's patch is going to lower the frequency of it, and I hope so because it's making me want to not play the game at all anymore.

I play on PS4 and I rarely feel like I grabbed someone and didn't get their tail. I can't really explain how to grab someone's tail reliably but if it doesn't work immediately you just have to keep grabbing them. I think there's a brief window where the tail can't be stolen if they're getting up from a fall but they can still be grabbed.
