Here's the deal. I'm not looking for some impossible challenge with this. I'm just looking to play through the game using Pokemon other than the 10-15 I usually use when playing through Gen I. With that in mind...
-One Pokemon per user -Only one Pokemon per type (the exception to this is that I can have another normal type in addition to a normal/flying; and Gyarados doesn't count as my flying) -FEs only -I can use other Pokemon in the meantime, but as soon as I have access to a Pokemon (or their pre-evo) on my list I have to catch them and add them to my team. -I can temporarily switch out for an HM user ONLY if no Pokemon on my team can learn that HM (if they can, I must teach it to them if I need to use it) -None of the following Pokemon that I use very frequently: Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Nidoqueen, Nidoking, Clefable, Electrode, Marowak, Snorlax, Articuno, Mewtwo. Also no Missingno, or, since I don't have access to trading, trade evos/Pokemon that can't be found in Blue (Vileplume would have been on the above list for other versions) --- darkx ... Okay so I'm counting Magikarp and Paras as their evolutions, which makes my team
Gyarados Hypno Dugtrio Parasect Farfetch'd Raichu Which means I can have my full team before facing Surge (maybe before facing Misty? I can't remember if you can access Vermilion at all before facing her). And without checking I think all the HMs should be covered too (Flash on Raichu, Fly on Farfetch'd, Cut on Parasect, Surf on Gyarados, Strength on Dugtrio). EDIT: Looks like only Gyarados can learn Strength, which kinda throws off what my plan for his moveset was going to be. As for typing, I think there are enough TMs that these guys can learn to cover most match-ups. So I think I can make this work. --- darkx ... Copied to Clipboard!
