Like they show a picture of a doctor with a mask and a caption saying they wear it for 14 hours on their shift, or an athlete wearing a mask and exercising/running.

They're literally trained for it. It's like saying "if an Olympian can lift 500lbs, you can too". Fuck that shit.

This is an actual argument someone made when they were protesting our new company policy that masks are now required and not just encouraged.

if a 2 year old can wear a mask for an hour without taking it off or complaining, you can too.

Little kids wear masks for eight straight hours on Halloween and don't complain lol. Maybe if we start handing out candy to the whiners they'll shut up. >_>

Yes. We literally had a 10 minute mandatory training video that shows how masks works, how to wear the company provided masks, and some meme like pictures because of course. The video also had training on how to use the self-use temperature monitoring devices at the entrance prior to entering during off hours.

I have severe asthma. Like, two maintenance medications and I still go through a "monthly" rescue inhaler every 2 weeks. Masks don't bother me in the slightest, even when I'm physically active. If I can wear a mask, literally anyone who isn't on oxygen support can.
