This doesn't affect single player users who just want to add people for dungeons, but it loses all the functionality of actually having 4 people playing together. It's basically just when you're in a dungeon you can add up to 3 combat bots... except the bots are people, cuz that's all the multiplayer can do. .. But apparently it's crossplatform so Switch and mobile users can play together? --- "Salt cures Everything!" I had a great co-op experience playing the original with two friends and was looking forward to this version to experience it with friends who had never played it, but that design choice has really dampened the enthusiasm I had for playing this.
