Could you date her?


You're at the bar with your friend Sanchez who is celebrating his recent cage fight victory against Big Pete when he says "Hey let me introduce you to this chick that reminds me of you. I met her doing [That thing you like]."

Then he calls her over and from appearance to personality to career she's in every way what your perfect girl would be. You also notice the wedding ring on her finger.

You talk for a while and it's the greatest conversation of your life, she's just so darn perfect and there is sexual tension you could cut with a knife

But Sanchez snaps you back to reality moments after she leaves when he says "Man, it's a shame she's already married to that douchebag Roger who no one likes. You'd have made a great couple.

But hey, what ya gonna do? Not like you can see her behind his back or push them towards breaking up so you can selfishly take her for yourself or anything.... That would be crazy." Sanchez says sardonically with a chuckle while drinking.

Disagree. You could end up fuckin something good up over a temporary feeling you had during a rare mood. There will always be sour patches because we're human. There will most likely be times of doubt when your mind tries to convince you there's a better option. But you're misguided over a lack of knowledge/experience of the person you think you like more. You're pass the honeymoon phase with the person you love and someone else comes along and tells you what you want to hear because that's how the early stages of meetimg someone works. You're putting on a show to convince someone you're better than you actually are. Because most people aren't really accepting of someone's faults/baggage right off the rip

That's because what you said is very similar. When people say "now's your chance" it can be about love as well. People take chances by asking someone out, choosing to work on the relationship. Or they may chance ending a relationship for better opportunities.

If you're relationship is unsatisfactory, either communicate openly and properly with your partner to try and fix things, or agree you've grown too far apart to continue on. Cheating for those reasons is pure passive-aggressive douchery.

I feel like you don't know much about abusive and controlling relationships. And please god don't say to get authorities involved then. This isn't even a slam against them. Sometimes there is literally nothing they can do because the person is so good at making the other party look guilty. Sometimes you get in a relationship with a chess player who has you outclassed and can react to your every move.

Though, on that note. I can't blame someone for not taking on that burden of being involved. But that's a different conversation.
