Boo! I had it all planed that I would download it when it went live, go to sleep for a couple hours, and then wake up and play a couple hours before I sent to work.

If you mean the top post on r/CrusaderKings, it's a joke that it's not unlocked yet.

Also, according to Paradox's twitter, Steam's timer is wrong, it'll unlock at noon EDT like it's supposed to. And for those of us waiting on GMG keys, their twitter says they'll be sent out just ahead of release.

I'm sure I won't get to play much of it before I have to go to work, it really depends on how long the download will be. But I think I'll have enough time to see who I want to play as. I'm thinking Alexandria, but I also might lean to Norse.

And of course I'll have a quick game in Ireland, just to learn the basics of the new stuff and see how everything works

I know the reviews all talked it up, but I'm not particularly big on the new UI so far. It just doesn't feel right for there to be nothing in the top left of the screen.

Meh, those were by far the best two starts in CK2 anyway.
Though the 769 one did have the one random Merovingian floating around, which was silly(IIRC, he was probably dead by then), but could lead to some random Duke pressing his claim on Francia.
Ah well, crazy nonsense happening is what got me hooked on Crusader Kings back in the day. I won't be getting CK3 just yet, but I will eventually. Ya'll have fun.

I really like it.
