If it's an awesome film i'll gladly watch it 120 times in thatres 9.09% (1 vote) 1 Craig Sharpe from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada is a big fan of Christopher Nolan and in the times of COVID-19, he now plans to see the movie 120 TIMES in THEATRES and he's already seen it 19 TIMES!! He said the first time he saw it he was totally confused but after seeing it nearly 20 times, he said he has a pretty good grasp of the plot now. He said "I have had a crystal clear sense of this movie and what's it about at the FIFTH time of seeing. And now i'm just enjoying it" Craig is doing this to earn a place in the Guinness Boo of Records by watching it 120 times before it hits streaming and dvd but to do that he has to hit the theatres every day for 6 weeks straight. The record is for most cinema productions attended for the same film that is held curently by Australian Joanne Connor who saw Bohemiam Rhapsody 108 times in 2019 The movie was postponed several times as NOlan famously refused to pivot to online insisting his visual effects heavy film was meant for the big screen and that theatres needed a financial boost Still, many moviegoers have been tepid about returning despite safety measures But Sharpe isn't worried as he will keep his distance from others and wear a mask from every screening with hand sanitizers..and yes he does plan to sit through the ENTIRE movie that is 2 hours and 30 minutes long. He said he was worried to go back but when he got there and saw the safety measures he had nothing to worry about as it's a form of taking care of his mental health for his depression and anxiety He'll estimate to be spending $1400 in total for his and is now running a fundraiser to help fund it to cover costs and extra money will be given to a charity The one person he hasn't heard from yet is Nolan himself which he hopes hears about his record breaking measure soon and said "Honestly, i would probably be stumbling if i actually got in contact with him in any way, shape or form but it would be an honour. I would just want to thank him for fighting to get this movie released in theatres. I know how adamant he is on the movie theatre experience. I am the same way". Sometimes he'd watch it twice in a day. He always got a large blue slushie and a large candy that he'd alternate between a few varieties.
