Then we don't need to have restrictions on businesses and the economy would be better, unemployed people would have jobs, etc. If Trump and other politicians said from the beginning and even now that the virus is a real threat and to take it seriously by wearing a mask, wash hands, don't be sub human scum and go to covid parties, etc. then we'd have low number of covid cases like what a lot of other countries right now have.

Is there some kind of fucking evil hidden agenda these corrupt ass politicians are planning up like getting covid cases high so pharmaceutical companies can get more money then give these politicians some side money? Or maybe they want as many businesses as possible to close permanently so their rich friends can buy or rent property in the best locations for business so when everything is back to normal they'd be in a great position long term? WtF

Statistically, no amount of actual Covid-19 deaths scare them. Business as usual, and they legitimately don't care about the people that get sick from this. In their eyes, more than enough healthy people will survive. They are horrendously short-sighted with their greed.

The only agenda it that the current administration is more concerned with maintaining the appearance of normalcy ahead of the election than it is with protecting the well-being of the people it represents; treating COVID seriously in terms of both rhetoric and policy would have violated that facade.
