What do you think? I removed person information for hopefully obvious reasons. Also uploading to Gfaqs also made the bottom margin weird, so I'm aware of that.

Your current setup looks very similar to mine, and I had some decent success with it.

I wouldn't mind more feedback if possible. Since recruiters will see it first, I want it to be easy to consume for non-developers as well.

I like it. I find it simple and easy enough to understand but perhaps fleshing out your experience details a bit more would help.

Is it typical not to list time-lines on projects? Because I assumed you would the same way you would for a job. Oo

You worked for Time Warner!?

As the merger with Charter happened that place really turned to .

I was in marketing back when the times were good.

More common to list the languages/tools used. Since all three of the projects use the same stack, I left that out to not have redundant lines.

It looks good to human eyes, but I'd make a second resume for the computers. Fancy templates in particular tend to confuse the ATS bots.

https://www.topresume.com/career-advice/what-is-an-ats-resume

tl;dr Cut & paste your resume into Notepad. If it still looks OK, you're good. If it's a jumbled mess, that's what the computer will see.

I put that there so there isn't a bunch of whitespace in the corner. When I finished I just had that blank space there.

Hypertext markup language. A language used in the front end and UI of websites. Mostly used for organizing the elements of a page to display information how you want. Used to be used a lot for styling a page as well, however that has been taken over mostly by CSS (Cascading Style Sheets).

I like to think of it as if your webpage display is a house, then the HTML is the studs and drywall, while the paint and carpets are CSS.

Also if you were joking, sorry for missing it, if not I hope you have a better understanding.

I'm also basically a full-stack dev, though I don't work for a software company and make mostly internal stuff.

Nice resume.

I've obtained my last 3 jobs without one even though it has 15 years of biotech/ pharmaceutical manufacturing on it. I was drunk and stoned at my last interview, lol, which was drinking beer (beer made by the interviewer) while watching my new boss (same guy) do what he needed someone else to do.

I actually had a trained chef tell me (a self-trained cook) that if I'm capable of running a short order line(I am really great at it), I can get a job at any restaurant since I have a talent and skill that even trained chefs lack.

My breakfast boss told me that it's not surprising that my brewery boss wants me full time. Both of my employers and my wife (owns a food manufacturing/restaurant company) come from lifetimes and families of cooking food for people and it feels nice that eventhough cooking for others was something I didn't think I'd enjoy, I really do love it and apparently my skill at it is the highest level.

Rev putting me down is like Satan telling you, you're doing the right thing.

Also running a line, making sure 30-100 meals an hour are prepared properly, is completely different from designing a menu.

I mean it does seem like you're making yet another topic about you when nobody actually cares. For a guy who works in the hospitality trade or at least did I'd expect better attempts art engaging in conversation. All I'm reading is me, me, me! Also what you typed ins't at all that impressive.

A regular cook is not going to be better than an actual chef at a high end restaurant.

Lol. Ok guy. Apparently you are still under the illusion that reality TV is real.

Trained chefs are taught to cook signature dishes and kitchen techniques. They are a name but many aren't the executors of their product. Some trained chefs do run their lines but much less than you think. They rely on people like me for that, the talented unnamed cooks that actually execute the day to day cooking.

A natural chef (people like me, self-taught, real food passionate with short order skills) that can read 10+ tickets at once and get it all out in 2 passes (this isn't McD's using microwaves, actually cooking food) are people with something that isn't taught.

Talent is inherent, skill is practiced, fame is fleeting, usefulness is permanent.
