I think it's a gnat. But whatever it is, it has wings. And I don't like it. I heard the a 50/50 mix or water and alcohol or water and peroxide would kill it. But I don't think I have anymore of either. I can hear it flapping it's wings...

Argh, that is totally my fear. I would go insane. I think you can just use warm water in a pinch though, or better yet stick that side of your head under water so it can't get any o2.

I did pour some water in earlier. After making this topic, I went to look for alcohol or peroxide. But I guess I was out. So, I tried water. That was about an hour ago. I haven't heard or felt it since...

combination of water and ear wax have killed it at this point, itll probably come out within a day or two when cleaning your ears

I had the same experience once, woke up and there was a buzzing/burrowing noise inside my ear. About as disturbing as it sounds, but a bug like that cant really do much to you its just gonna get trapped and killed by your earwax

Yeah. I just hated the buzzing sound. I figured I'd be ok since it couldn't do much because of the type of bug it was. But that buzzing was absolutely horrible. It's not the first time, either. I think it happened last summer, as well... I was leaning out the window watching my dogs in the backyard when it happened.

And I thought getting a flea in my ear when I was trying to sleep was bad... Uggh that sounds like a nightmare.

At least it's not a snake in your boot.... although depending the snake that might be better.
