I don't feel like hooking my N64 back up to the TV. The N64 controller is the only real way to play the game.

Sure, I also have the DS remake as well, but the controls are different enough with the physics for it to not be an issue.

I have a N64 controller USB adapter and a N64 controller. I wonder if that works with the switch.

Its not to bad. That being said, I have played on a normal controller more times that an N64 controller, anyway. Like on the DS and VCs...

The "look" camera mode, the cannons, and the owl controls are no longer inverted.

I hate it

Thankfully, they didn't touch the flying or swimming controls (which would have been a cancer if they were not inverted).

at least it does on a 360 controller anyways, i guess i dont know about the switch

the n64 controller was a 3 dicked monstrosity that never needed to exist in the first place. stop trying to pretend like it served a purpose other than being a warning of what NOT to do.

i think we are about the same age nathan.
and yes, i grew up with an N64. it was my primary system for a lot of years and the controller was a fucking disaster

That is due to input lag, caused not only by the game being in HD, but also due to emulation.

Got 50 stars then decided to try Sunshine for a bit. So I noticed the FLUDDs controls explanation is censored. When its about to say a button prompt they just cut out the audio. Its kind of jarring. Also in HD you can see when youre far enough away from npcs they just stop animating alltogether. Yikes. I hope they patch that, it looks baaaaad.

Edit: Oh also FLUDDs controls are inverted.

I was curious how they'd deal with the FLUDD/aiming controls for those games, and I really don't think it works as well as they're pretending with this. I wish they gave us an option to customize our controls, that would have been really easy to program.

I wouldn't know. I never played Sunshine before. I never owned a Gamecube or a Wii.

They controlled much better on their original consoles.

For Sunshine, the FLUDD could be controlled by the analog R button. The harder you pressed, the higher the water pressure. The Switch uses a digital binary control system, plus the controls are inverted.

For Galaxy, collecting star bits or whatever was much more intuitive with the Wii Remote. The Switch is relying on gyro controls, which needs to be reset every 20 seconds.
