Current Events > Had a phone interview today and idk how to feel about it

Haven't interviewed for a job in nearly a decade, so I was rusty as hell. Also never done a phone interview, always been in person.

Felt like I did well in talking about why I was interested in the position and why I feel like I'd be a good fit for it, just froze up a few times when asked some of the questions, mainly about my current job duties - I've been doing it for 8 years so at this point it's like I'm on autopilot when I clock in, so I had to pause to think about what the hell I actually do every day and just felt like an idiot. It was probably only a couple of seconds but felt like a damn lifetime.

The lady I spoke to was very nice at least. Said she would send her notes to the hiring manager and if they like what they see, the next step is a Zoom interview.

Fucking covid. I feel like I'd be a lot better in person.

I mean you can literally have shit written down in a notepad or one your computer right in front of you since it's a phone interview.

Buuuut anyway I just got a call back, they want to do the Zoom interview next week!

Should I wear a suit even though it's a webcam meeting? I figured I'd treat it like an in-person one but idk if that's considered weird in this "new normal"

I had a zoom interview two days ago. Wasn't sure how professional I had to look so I just dressed as if it was an in person interview.
