I just started City, by Clifford D. Simak. Before that I read The Crack In Space, by Philip K. Dick, Trans Wizard Harriet Porber and the Bad Boy Parasaurolophus, by Chuck Tingle (silly book), and The Club of Queer Trades, by G.K. Chesterton.

What are you reading?

Since the trailer came out I re-read Dune, and now I'm re-reading Dune Messiah. Kinda struggling to get through Messiah. I'm determined to read all six novels though.

Ugh, man, don't do that to yourself or at least skip messiah (the rest o fit) and children of dune/god emperor of dune. You can come back to them later and trust me, you won't be missing anything at all.

Fast forward to Heritics and chapterhouse, both are just about as good as the first book.

Honestly I think they should just burn all copies of messiah through god emperor and make it a 3 part original series, everyone coming into it in the future would thank us for that.

If you HAVE to, you could skim (or read a summary of the second and third book, and then read god emperor I guess.....but I mean they are such a let down from the first book.

Am looking forward to the new series though.

Fingerprints of the Gods by Graham Hancock. Just finished Crazy Psycho Murder Tree by Patrick E. Mclean as I eagerly await the next Dresden Files Novel.

I wish both Mclean and Joe Abercrombie would write more books faster.

I've been going through the stormlight archive again in anticipation of the 4th book coming out soon. Just finished winds of radiance, though I'll probably take a break before starting oathbringer and read the new dresden files book first.

That Harry Potter book with Slughorn and a LaTeX reference book. I've been trying to get myself to review textbooks on math subjects I've taken, but admittedly, I have not taken an interest in said textbooks, nor can I find any valid reason to go through them other than the fact that I feel like I have gotten--or rather, I am afraid I have gotten--rusty. I just do not see the point, honestly, considering I've no plans to return to college anytime soon and it would be more productive to spend my time and efforts into finding work.

Yeah I read Dune, Messiah, and Children like 10 years ago, none of the others. I remember nothing about Messiah, and only bits and pieces of Children.
