I'm kind of feeling the same thing. I won't claim to buy into it, but the timing is all too perfect. Idk man. I'm not a conspiracy guy. I feel like this could be to dodge the debates that he acted like a toddler in, and then he can bounce back like the virus is no big deal and claim high marks again on how he handled it.

"I barely felt sick, people made such a big deal about this. Just a few days and I felt great, fantastic even. I've had worse colds. People are worried about nothing, like I said from the beginning. Reopen everything" etc

Something tells me many of the people who would balk at the idea that Trump is lying about COVID-19 to garner sympathy or avoid participating in another debate, are the same people who without hesitation believed Trump when he said coronavirus was a Democratic hoax and was nothing serious.

I'm not saying Trump is lying, I'm just saying there is going to be a lot of hypocritical inconsistency by some folks...

If he does in fact have it, he's quite fortunate he's the sitting president. He's obese, he's old, and he's in terrible shape. Those are all marks against a positive outcome. He'll get the best possible care due to his position, but there's a lot working against him.
