I hate how this is the only PS2 game that uses O as confirm.

I definitely had a lot of fun with the battle system. Story is cool. Wish I could have survived Xenosaga 2

It really isn't the only ps2 game to do that. It isn't even the only Western release of a game to do that on ps2. :l Import more games and it becomes second nature.

Bought episode I new, got II and III used at GameStop, had to buy them as soon as I saw them in stock because I knew I'd not get another chance like that.

The PS1 was more split on it, which is understandable, but by the PS2, pretty much everyone got the memo that X is confirm in America.

It takes most people 25-30 hours to beat and you should have the entire party of 6 together at some point around 2/3rds of the way through that time. :l

The second is pretty hated and the 3rd is most peoples favorite. I couldn't finish the second to get to the 3rd. I still have a sealed copy of the 3rd.

.Okay, I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm on the second space ship with chaos, Shion, KOS-MOS, Ziggy, and MOMO. There are enemy robots in the lower hull, and a crashed spaceship that's on fire, and there's urgent music playing. Any idea what to do? Also, do the spaceships ever end?

X2 has a very combo-oriented battle system where you have to do a little more strategizing than average to beat random battles efficiently, and they take a little longer than average even with that. If you just try to power through then every battle will be a slog. It can be a fun game if you can get into the combat, but otherwise it's a chore.

Pretty sure you're trying to get to the gear hanger in the lower area of the ship to fight off the invaders.

It was the second turn based RPG I ever played and I had no idea what I was doing. Somehow I beat it. Was funny going back and playing it much later and realizing how much easier the game was after I knew how to actually play a game like it.

Anyways episode 1 and episode 3 are two of my favorite games. Episode 2 is trash but has its moments story wise.

The halfway point for the script is at the Moonflow. The general consensus is that the halfway point for gameplay is at or right after Macalania Temple.

Same deal here. Dungeons will start to get dramatically longer from here on out, as well as having a scene scattered here and there rather than a bunch of back to back movie segments with a room or two in between. There's still a bunch of story stuff right after you finish or arrive at a new place in the story, but well. Don't want to spoil it.

Use to replay the trilogy constantly. The third game outside a few mech battle is piss easy compared to the first two.

You should be able to shorten the cast time and use a faster shortcut for tech attacks by now. Spamming triangle>spell ray and triangle>spell ray>spell ray really shortens a lot of battles for where you're at in the game. Also don't forget to use skill points for stat boosts. :l

Spend at least some of your Tech points on character stats. It can make a big difference.

Definitely going to dump TP into stats now.

Wouldn't recommend unless you can read Japanese because there's a LOOOOT of text and stuff that differs from how it's presented in the PS2 titles.

I think it also had a few references to Xenofreaks.
