according to statistics, most parents allow their child to stay home alone at 12 or 13 WITHOUT a BABYSITTER..

So how old were you when they finally let you?....

At my Mom's it was bit younger, I don't think my Dad ever did til I graduated High School

There was a bit of an ulterior motive so I understand, but essentially my grandpa was mine and my sisters ride from school so after he dropped us off he hung out til my Dad got home, but I think that's mostly cause he wanted to spend time with us.

Well, not 'let', but the Christmas when I was 8 I got left home alone. There were these two guys that tried to keep breaking into my house, but luckily the neighbor that I thought was kinda scary actually turned out to be a very nice man and helped me out.
