I mean, it couldn't possibly be that New York State shut down in April, and started opening back up in June or anything, so i was furloughed for 11ish weeks but i bet you thought that was some very smart detective work, and that you almost got me!

I havent heard sore throat as a symptom but excessive coughing can cause a sore throat which excessive coughing is a symptom.

But then again nearly everyone ive known to get it tells a different story on they felt durint

Weird everyone seems to say differemt symptoms my local urgent care doesnt have sore throat listed has diarrhea listed though. When I went up there over a stomach bug I had and asked to be tested just incase they assumed I had diarrhea when it was constant nausea and some actual vomiting I was experienced.

Yeah the list on the door to my local urgent care is far shorter. Basically they wont let you in if you have any of their listed symptoms. You call them from the parking lot and they come out to you.

If you've got a thermometer handy, the best way to monitor yourself is just to take your temperature 3-4 times a day. The fever is the most consistent symptom, as well as one that can be objectively measured regardless of how hypochondriac you're feeling.

I had a similar experience with a coworker who caught it. The week before, they were saying how they were still going to parties and bar. They said, and I quote "Neither me and anybody else I know has caught it. Even if if we do, were still young so it wouldn't be that bad."

And yet, as stupid and irresponsible as they were being, I still can't help but hope they don't have any serious complications.

I had it in March-April. it sucks. couldn't breathe or sleep and no one took me seriously. recovered by Mid May- I was a long hauler

but I think most young people that get it now will be fine

Im 31, and though my symptoms were on the really mild side (if I did have it) I have had several post covid symptoms.
Though I get headaches, they have been more frequent this year, i have been having tight chest in the late evenings. It sucks. Getting it even if you don't get really sick it can still fuck you up after you recover.

To the physical office to sit at a desk? Or "go to work" remotely? My job can't be done by zoom and phone, so yeah if the state closes down, I can't work. Point is, you're trying to imply and "rules lawyer" a statement that any reasonable person would have understood. Pretty desperate for that gotcha, aren't you?

It's only a matter of time that some folk when they have a cold or flu because you know it's coming up to winter that they think it's COVID. Perhaps some are already rushing out for a COVID test as soon as they sneeze. I've also learned it's best to not look up symptoms of things online as with my anxiety issues that can turn to obsession with little reason if any for me to be obsessing in the first place. Thanks brain.

If you look something up, start with the 3rd or 4th result and work backwards. The first result is always cancer or something debilitating. I thought I might have Covid early into the pandemic, but it was just G.E.R.D brought on by poor diet and stress.

I work 20-30 hours a week at a grocery store and I feel like I should've been exposed to it at this point, but I haven't felt too bad all year other than my usual anxiety and allergies and occasional coughing. And no one in my immediate family has it either. I got really sick last December, but I still don't know if it was covid or the flu.

Oh I know all about acid reflux. Turns out I had a stomach ulcer though. That was fun. Still I get all sorts of symptoms of anxiety that used to make me think the worse all the time and I obsessed over each symptoms. Now I tend to avoid doing that for my own peace of mind.

Again, the desperate rules lawyering is pretty pathetic. Should I have specified "everyday my job site isn't closed due to a pandemic, natural disaster, holiday, or I have a scheduled day off?" Would that have satisfied your sudden need for contract language regarding my work schedule?

If I said I slept 8 hours last night, are you going to argue "well actually, you were sleeping past 11:59pm so you were sleeping during the day"? Because thats the same level of ridiculous this argument is.

My new headcanon is that Whiskey is a deadbeat who barely works and is babied by his parents who he still lives with, but he switches the narrative on the Internet so he doesn't look like an aging ICOYAR. This backstory surprisingly makes a lot of sense and also explains the lack of character development after all these years!
