Biden supporters took to the streets in Washington DC as Trump was away golfing as they hugged each other and choked back tears along with Black Lives Matter groups..

They were holding a celebration and party that the president is soon to be moving out..and just as Trump returned home where he had already learned that he was fired, he returned to not a crowd of his supporters....but to this as they hurled insults such as You're Fired and honked their horns at the motorcade!!.

A much different contrast from when he went in his motorcade after recovering from COVID-19 last month..

Trump was not fired. This time unlike 2016, some people got it right finally. Trump is a horrible narcissistic guy who thinks the world only revolves around him and he wasn't president for any good reason because from the outset his whole entire admin started lying, cheating, taking private flights at taxpayer expense etc so it was a disaster from the start.

The economy looked good during his first year and a half in office then the bottom fell out as did his so called phony "Trade War" with China and then the perfect storm happened with the COVID-19 pandemic and the civil unrest and the protests and through it all Trump did nothing but stoke the fire of the bigots etc to further divide the country so good riddance.

In my opinion if a country is facing a war or a pandemic or anything as serious as either, BOTH parties should ban together and work for the good of the country but that's not what happened when the pandemic occurred because Trump and his ilk downplayed the seriousness of the virus and as a result, over 200,000 Americans have lost their lives who maybe wouldn't have had he did something other than insisting people not wear masks.

Biden isn't even in office yet and he's already planning to assemble medical experts to deal with COVID-19 something Trump never did or even attempted to do because he was too busy arguing with the medical professionals to make it seem the pandemic wasn't as bad as it was.

People who received a stimulus check and extended unemployment have been left to rot since that expired months ago because these politicians both Dem and Repubs are dragging their feet in issuing a new stimulus package and that to me is treason because at the end of the day our elected officials should do what's best for the country, protect our boarders and above all protect our citizens and Trump hasn't done that nor has any of the other ones and this isn't a Dem or Rep issue because it affects all Americans period.

...the economy was still very strong up until COVID and the Trade War was anything but phony. The civil unrest had dickall to do with the economy and goes back to Obama's years when he chose to throw his full weight behind a fledgling BLM movement then waited to intervene in Ferguson, Baltimore, etc, giving rioters the feeling that they had permission to carry out their nonsense.

Obama shouldn't be given much, if any credit, for a recovery considering that much of what happened on his watch was set up by GWB beforehand -- even if he signed off on it as well and agreed to carry it out -- or was part of a natural recovery to a recession. After all, he did very little during his term to stimulate business and spent a lot of time attacking it. If business improved at all on his watch, it was largely coincidental since his emphasis was on social and environmental policy.

As for Trump, the early stock market bumps and that first year was largely a positive reaction to his election (again, keep in mind that -- contrary to Hillary's false warnings -- the markets went up when he won). The sustained market was largely a result of his policies (and, in order to try to fix the situation with China, the markets did take a hit when he chose to engage in a trade war which Biden -- whose son received money from a CCP-backed bank -- vowed to reverse immediately despite all of his tough talk on China).

The organization that he's been working for has decided not to renew his contract, on account of his poor performance. It's technically closer to a layoff than to being fired, but there are definitely enough elements of "fired" in there that it's not inaccurate to say that.

A few recounts will (and should) happen in the states that are within the prescribed margins for them, but there's really no reason to believe that such recounts will cause any of those states to flip, let alone flipping enough of them to change the outcome of the election. There's been no actual evidence of fraud or other wrongdoing that might suggest that a recount would change more than the few hundred votes recounts usually change.

Trump will keep fighting this right up until he's been thrown out of the office, but that's because his narcissism prevents him from accepting his loss, not because there's actually any credible reason to fight. It is over.

And that's without considering that removing a president from office via impeachment can definitely be called "firing" them. That process hits every salient point in the term's definition.

1) No one in their right mind is saying it does, and it would be as divisive as it is inaccurate to lay such a claim at any political side's feet.
2) Technically the people in the media are part of the process the same way (presumably) you and I are, in that they vote.
3) As stated in another topic when someone decided to imitate a commentator--one whose career had hinged originally on her dumb blond appearance being fitting for Fox--the media reports the results as projected by analysts. They do not decide the results.
4) Four years ago, none of this was an issue for Trump's people. And, for the last four years, Trump's people have been saying Dems should just accept the 2016 results already, when really the problem was Dems didn't accept Trump as their lord and savior, let alone leader.

Court cases, including in Georgia, have been tossed out already on the grounds of the lack of evidence. Meanwhile what evidence has come of fraud are intermittent or sporadic cases from Republican hands, not Democrat ones. In fact, many Repblicans like to point at Wisconsin with its high turnout, but cease to realize that the turnout didn't account for how many people registered to vote on the same day they voted, because Wisconsin allows this.

Correct all his cases have been thrown out as frivolous cases lacking merit. The only case running I think will win is the PA one blocking ballots that arrived after 8pm on the 3rd. It won't change anything though, ballots arriving after that point have been sequestered away and not counted.

Right. NY has charges against him and members of his family, IRS has charges on him, and I believe FBI has some charges on him that have gone unanswered due to his time serving as President. Some of these charges would have gone away with statutes of limitations, save for ones that only have stuck like one of his multiple cases of bankruptcy. If anything, Trump being out of office means due process can finally proceed as is due, no matter the actual outcome. Does this necessarily mean jail or prison time? We will see, but it wouldn't surprise me if he was at least placed under house arrest for a time. If the courts find no wrong doing, then so be it, but due process must have its course.
