I was afraid to stick up for myself and I was afraid to say no. I was afraid of disappointing people. I didn't stop because of my negative experiences either. I just stopped getting involved with others. I felt tired. That said, I don't disagree. Genuine kindness requires bravery. I thought TC meant it in a more general sense. How many genuinely kind people do you meet after all? I just don't know anymore. --- I just want to restore this world back to the natural. Bring order to this broken reality. A 10 nice/0 smart and 0 nice/10 smart? Or a 5 nice/8 smart and 8 nice / 5 smart? Ultimately it depends on what you want out of life. I'd prefer to be smart because I enjoy creating things, and intelligence helps with that. Most of the betterment of my intelligence has been a result of trying to do something.
