I didn't get it cut during peak pandemic because nothing was open

Now I get it cut regularly like I used to

Gotten pretty good at shaving it all away. Learned a few years back that I just really like how having a bald head feels. As a fun bonus, I can use those metal head massagers to full effect without worry about messing up a hairdo.

I started learning how to cut my own hair last December, but not to fully replace barbers. I went to get it cut in June when they initially re-opened and used to only get it cut about twice a year anyway so haven't even thought about going back yet.

I used to get it cut every three weeks, but ever since quarantine started I only got it cut once in July. I'm coming to grips with it being long, but I'm well past due for another cut.

I've been cutting it myself every couple months, which is about the same schedule I used to go to a barber.

I last got it professionally cut in the first week of March, right before everything shut down, and I felt smug about my great timing. Then May rolled around and I was like "whoops"

I got my hair cut last in july and have let it go since then but my hair is wild and thick and its getting annoying.

I have tried cutting my own hair a few times before in my life, but this year I took the time to really learn the way. I'll probably just keep doing it myself and save $80-100 per year

I had great timing and got a haircut like first week of March. Held out until like two months ago but had a great experience at my place. Temp checks at the door, mask required, etc

I cut it myself once with my trimmer around June, just for fun. I was like, whatever happens, I'm still working from home, so whatever. It didn't look terrible but it grew pretty unevenly.

Just got a brand new haircut over the weekend. Great experience too. Maybe I'll dye it for the lols too.

My family (somewhat unwillingly) took me to get a haircut about five months ago at a place that treated COVID as a thing of the past. I'm not looking forward to a likely repeat of that soon for more reasons than one.

During Peak Pandemic I just let it grow, but I've gotten my hair cut at my usual barber shop a few times since. They do their best to limit exposure (masks are mandatory, you must have an appointment, you can't enter the shop unless it's your appointment time, they sanitize everything between customers) so I feel pretty safe going there.

My hair is generally long anyway, but I was due for a cut around like January and had been putting it off and then the pandemic happened and now i dont even remember when I got it cut previously... it may be close to two years without a haircut now. At least a year and a half.

its too long. I would prefer it to be less long, but I just dont care enough to make it seem worth the risk

I would normally go many months between haircuts regularly, so now I'm using this as an opportunity to just let my hair grow out and see how it looks. It's probably been close, to if not already, a year now since I've gotten a haircut.

I'm legit amazed at how many people learned to cut their own hair. That's incredible, considering how many times I try to style my facial hair I butcher it and end up shaving everything when it's just slightly uneven.

I let it grow real long for a while but my last two haircuts were done normally, just wearing masks at the barbers.

I only get it cut every 4 months, so I've had 1 haircut that someone else gave me. I could do my own hair pretty reasonably since it's mostly buzzed, but the back is really annoying so I just let someone else do it.

I shaved my head during peak pandemic. My receeding hairline was getting out of control anyway, so I decided to get rid of my hair entirely and I've kept the bald head since.

I got it cut in like March just before everything shut down. Got it cut in July which was the longest I had gone with a cut since college. My hair is pretty thick and wavy so at a certain point it just becomes awful to deal with. Got another one in September. Both times good precautions were taken so yeah.

I have taken the opportunity to grow a beard and mustache combo thanks to the mandatory masking at work. Always said I couldn't grow one since it really only grows on my chin but the mask hid the awkward stages and now it doesn't look too bad!

I was already considering growing it out in 2019, but I guess the pandemic helped me realize long hair doesn't look bad on me. I probably should get it cleaned up a little some time though.

Before the pandemic I basically never got a haircut and that has not changed

About 3 years ago I cut it into a mohawk and dyed it purple. Since then I've only gotten it cut twice, once to cut off the purple so it was all about the same length, and then about 6 months later a trim to make it slightly styled and not completely uniform in length all over. So for over 2 years I haven't gotten it cut at all. I would like to get a trim, to remove the damaged ends and maybe slightly style it in a more femme look. Just before the pandemic I found a really good salon that was recommended as trans-friendly but I wasn't able to get in before they closed down, temporarily at first but it's become a permanent closure, so I'm back to trying to figure out where I can go. I suppose I can at least trim the ends myself, if not style it, but honestly it's been looking pretty good lately so maybe I'll wait a bit longer.
