This might be my first "who?" where I literally have no idea who the person is, what they've done, and in what medium/genre they've done it in. Usually it's a content creator/vtuber/gamer/musician/actor that I haven't heard of specifically, but can figure it out from one of those identifiers. I'm just at a loss with this one.

It was new ground in the 90's and early 2000's, but any asshole can do that now.

Maddox was just the first well known one to do it at the time, and amazingly principled.

oh, i have no doubt that some people don't know who maddox is (as crazy as that is to me). the question is if the people going "who?" are legitimately interested to know who he is or if they just want to go "lol i'm too cool to care about your stupid internet celebrity bullshit."
