*Serious Christmas Chronicles 2 spoilers*

The elves tell Santa that in order to get a second Star of Bethlehem (the first one is destroyed) he will have to overcome something very very painful, but Santa pulls a Dumbledore and does it anyway.

But then its resolved 1 minute later and all he has to do is lift this jar into the air and the light of that star just pours into it and everyone just moves on.

What is going on here??? Netflix, the pinnacle of quality writing, let this very obvious oversight into the final draft? Is there an early draft somewhere that has Santa struggling to overcome this trial for 10 minutes straight? The little girl has to stop him, but no... he cant... he has to do this... he has to get the star...

And hes dying. But hes the ONLY one who can do this...

Why didnt this happen Netflix? Why did you very clearly set this up and then drop it not even 60 seconds later? What happened in the writers room for this movie?

Theres also this scene where Mrs. Claus shows the boy character a tray of three different types of cookies.

• The Snowman explodes where you throw it at things
• The Gingerbread man gives you courage but not really because the bravery was inside you all along
• And theres also this Tree cookie, and the camera lingers on it, but they never make mention of it again.

What does the cookie do, Mr. Claus? Why didnt you give boy child the tree? You cant just show me 2 cookies with magic powers and then not tell me what the third one!
