![]() lol @ Horizon: ZD listing the CPU as the GPU, though. This game is notoriously tough on hardware. I get better frame rates on my 2080 MQ @ 1080p than my 3080 @ 4K, though. --- Razer Blade 15 - Core i7-9750H, 32 GB RAM (2666), RTX 2080 MQ ... Copied to Clipboard!

That's actually slightly better than the desktop RTX 2070 at 1080p (79fps).
Beast mode laptop for 1080p. I love this thing. --- Razer Blade 15 - Core i7-9750H, 32 GB RAM (2666), RTX 2080 MQ ... Copied to Clipboard!

I wonder what the RTX 3000 series will be like on laptops?
I know they're not very power efficient, so that could be an issue especially for thin and lights. My RTX 2080 MQ is a 90W GPU. The normal RTX 2080 is 225W. The RTX 3080 is 320W. That's a 45% increase in power requirements and approximately 50% better performance. Makes me wonder if a 90W 3080 MQ will be that much faster, if at all. --- Razer Blade 15 - Core i7-9750H, 32 GB RAM (2666), RTX 2080 MQ ... Copied to Clipboard!

I wonder what the RTX 3000 series will be like on laptops? The cases are going to have to be made entirely out of aluminum, it is going to generate some insane levels of heat. They might even have to go proper liquid cooling on them. --- If you protest, it's because you feel your voice isn't being heard. If you riot, it's because you feel your voice is being ignored. ...
