When has Rockstar released something that caused a shitstorm like Cyberpunk for CDPR or Fallout 76 for Bethsheda? GTA V and RDR2 played great at launch if I recall and had complete games

Rockstar is not good. they put out a quality single player experience with red dead but don't mistake that for them being a good company. they abandoned gta v dlc. all their talent left. rdo is dead in the water

rdr2 was fantastic but they completely abandoned it right away and what's worse, red dead online has been utter shit. Rockstar is at the point of trying to squeeze every dime they can from us, while delivering garbage in return.

No. There are no good gaming companies. They all exist to make money and we should stop putting them on a pedestal.

Rather than focus on story driven single player games like they usually have, Rockstar have decided to hook all their fans up to industrial milkers to squeeze every penny out of them with their monetized online game that will ensure there will never be a GTA6.

I had criticisms of RDR2's level design but honestly when it comes to how alive their world and NPC's are I took them for granted. When it comes to pure sandbox open worlds they're very much in their own class.

I honestly find it baffling that people think they won't make GTA6. There are plenty of developers who only had one major game this generation. They're not that unusual.

You guys are forgetting the climate. Noone is saying Rockstar is Jesus. It's just that when they put out a game, the campaign is actually made with care and trying to stretch the experience you get from games. Start naming games that give you the content and push the boundaries like GTA5 and RDR2 if you wanna argue. Otherwise all it is is a "I hate everything, including Rockstar" argument to me.

I recall rockstar mentioning a year or 2 ago they will focus less on making big single player experiences. So basically the one thing that actually made there games worth it to me.
