it depends on what it is

like if you dropped a glass and it shattered and you just start screaming or something you need to learn to control yourself

or if you lost a game and throw your controller when you lose you need to get help

This is what kills me about psychologists like Adler and Zimbardo and the field's use of the word "prosocial" as if it meant that always being sweet and loving on a micro level somehow fixes society on a macro level.
Stuff's wrong? Get angry but sublimate that aggression.

Anger is about as useful as pain.

They arent good things. But thats the point. Its more of a warning that something is damaging you, and you should course correct.

Anger is a normal thing we all feel, it's just an issue of expressing it constructively.

Taking it out on your wife and kids for instance is pretty shitty.
