Hello POTD, it has been quite some time since I've last been here, how are you all doing? I hope you don't mind, I just kinda needed to vent to strangers. So to start things off, my father passed away back in December after having been in the hospital for a month and a half or so. With him gone, now both my parents are dead and I'm now the only person living in my home now which that alone would be enough of a challenge having to adapt to being alone after 35 years of living along with others, but in addition to that I have both my physical and mental issues that make this a bit more of a challenge to adapt to. In addition to this, with my father having passed away, the job I had, which was taking care of him, is also gone so I don't have a source of income at the moment and my hearing to try and get disability isn't until mid February or so. So currently, I am in quite a predicament when it comes to my future and needless to say it is causing quite the bit of stress on me.

So both the end of last year and the start of this one have not been the best for me, and with my life in the hands of some random judge, I can't help but not be freaked out, especially since I can't work and selling off my dad's belongings can only get me so far before I run out of his things that could actually sell for money. Anywho, I appreciate you just taking the time to read this, much love to you all.

Thank you very much. For the most part, I've been doing ok with his passing, it's more the aftermath that is been the biggest impact on me since it's a lot of stuff that at once and I'm only capable of handling so much at a time.

Thank you, I have been doing my best to be as positive as I can, though unfortunately, there have been moments where it builds up and I end up getting snippity with friends, but I do my best to avoid it as much as I can.

I dunno, the letter is supper confusing as it mentions this being the final decision and whatever the judge says goes. I mean, I'm sure my lawyer knows far more than me on the matter so I do have hope I'll get it eventually.

Yeah, a very dear friend of mine had recommended him to me as he helped my friend get disability after a terrible car wreck had shattered his hip left him unable to work anymore. Though it is sad that my friend is no longer around to see this through with me as he had passed away early November due to Covid-19 and having a weakened immune system because of all the meds he was on as a result of his wreck.
