We're about 20 minutes away from another night of metal-munching mayhem! We're approaching the end of the regular season, and the fights are heating up as teams try to punch their tickets to the postseason tournament. Here's the fight card for tonight:

We have a battle of oddball designs as Kraken takes on HUGE, a couple of "young gun vs. veteran" matchups with Big Dill vs. Rotator and Jackpot vs. Lock-Jaw, and a potentially explosive main event as former champion Tombstone takes on Skorpios. Which bots will secure a spot in the tournament, which bots on the bubble will pull themselves back into contention, and which bots will fall to the wayside? Find out tonight on BattleBots!

Kraken vs. HUGE was more interesting than I expected, but the outcome went exactly how I expected.

As for the second fight, what the fuck Ribbot, he was already dead!

Guess nobody else was here to talk about it, but it was a great episode overall. Fusion delivered one of the biggest hits of the season, and we may have just witnessed the end of an era with Tombstone being ripped apart by Skorpios in one of the biggest upsets of the season..

I usually catch these episodes after they happen this year. There was some good fights this episode. Watching Tombstone lose the way it did was pretty crazy. Like, it wasn't just a "good first hit" that ended the fight like it's first loss, but just a full on machine to machine battle that it fell apart more and more as the fight went on.

Dude, Tombstone's driver looked pissed off afterwards. I don't think I've seen the guy looking that angry before after a loss.

Yeah, I mean, tbf, I did feel like the countdown started pretty quick, but I don't think he was really showing any sort of movement.

I'm sure the 1-2 probably is a little ego-damaging too.

I think tombstone would've done better with a bigger bar. He used a thin one that couldn't quite rip the wedge off.

In past seasons, I've definitely seen Al Kindle from team Blacksmith look more salty than that after losing a close judge's decision before.

Hammer-Saws are legit weapons, to be sure. Ray's bot is mostly just a box inside a set of crash bars that wields a big steel blade. So Skorpios did well to pick at his tire assembly.

As for the Jackpot v Lockjaw fight, I knew going in that fight would be interesting. A hit at just the right angle can throw a driver's plans right out.

In a few weeks they'll announce the elimination bracket. I'm sure there will be more upsets to come in this season. The 'junior' teams have some nice bots.

This season has been disappointing for Tombstone so I can not really blame Ray.
