You ever see that one DCAU movie where Superman was doing the bidding of the government, and Batman with time to prepare and help from Green Arrow still failed and it ended up with Superman almost killing Batman?

The only way Batman realistically has a chance is if Batman is the one to go rogue and Superman is still good, and attempts to take him non-lethally.

The only thing Batman has is krytopnite which is pretty useless when Superman doesn't have to be near him to kill him.

Havent read everything but its not pure intelligence its intelligence in a specific thing (strategy traps etc) plus the fact hes among the best martial artists in the DC world. Basically when kryptonite or red solar energy brings supes down closer to a humans level he doesnt stand a chance.

The biggest advantage bats has though is he knows supes wont kill him. Even in the injustice universe evil Superman couldnt bring himself to kill him. And he had multiple oppurtunities.

Thanks to the help of green arrow a mech suit and superman being weakened to begin with. Granted batman was old and injured himself.

Batman didnt so much as beat superman than simply prove he could as when he had him in a spot he could end him he just gave some monologue about how he could and then proceeds to fake his own death.

I think the movie batman vs superman was a more solid victory for bats. Hell his victory in the red son alt universe was more definitive too. Also mentioning that i always wondered why red solar power isnt more used agains supes. Surely its easier to replicate than obtaining kryptonite

Well in that timeline, after having a hand in saving the world, Lex was a probationary member of the Justice League. He's likely had enough opportunity to witness the Bat's plans in action from both sides of the fighting by then.

When Lex is outmatched and at the mercy of a bigger bad that he kannot manipulate, he's quite the koward. The kontext was along the lines of "The world is rekt, most supers are dead, and the only man smarter than me now Darkseid's top general!"

I don't think it's so much that people see Superman as dumb, or brain naturally beats brawn. I think it's more along the lines that Batman in particular being leagues ahead with prep, plans upon plans, and discernment.

Batman proved he could thats all he was trying to do. Imagine had he been younger or so beat up. Iirc he was literally bedridden the day before. Of course as ive pointed out before 99% of batmans plans work cause superman will not kill him.

Whats funny is superman is supposed to be super intelligent they just seldom show it. But as i said in another post what the intelligence specializes in matters.
