Current Events > Smash - I haven't quite figured out how Sepiroth is supposed to work

His smash attacks have unreal range but they come out slower than ganandorf

He hits like a tank but he weighs about as much as Pichu

His special attacks are all cool but none of them seem particularly useful (trolling people with the timed bomb is fun though)

So basically he's ganandorf...but without the weight and a better recovery?

He is odd.

Space with aerials.

Only use smashes to armor through when you have 1WA for a hard read.

Specials will pretty much edgeguard everybody as well as d-air at ledge spiking low recoveries.

Side B is to disrupt approaches and combo into from grabs or n-air.

Show them despair.

Izaw Smash has a pretty good Sephiroth guide, it's a lengthy watch but worth it if you wanna improve:

If you're just looking for quick tips though, use short hop neutral airs frequently since it's a great get-off-me tool if you're being rushed. Condition the opponent a lot with forward airs. Use projectiles sparingly.

I appreciate your advice but man something about smash jargon irritates me, lol
