I don't like using spoiler tags so I preemptively put the tag in the title so we can discuss freely. I will refrain from spoilers in my OP, but they're fair game after that!

I just finished it the other day and I've been ruminating on it quite a bit. It's a very wholesome show that models healthy relationships and break-ups while still being very funny and entertaining. It's rare to find a show founded on such positivity, and even more so one that's able to elicit a lot of emotion from the viewer.

Anyone else here seen it? If not, I definitely recommend it!

I watched like a season and a half before it got old, but I enjoyed what I watched

The final Ted/Alexis break up scene really fucked me up. It's partly me projecting my own circumstances onto theirs (I've been in/am in a very similar dilemma), but it's also such a powerful moment that's both sad and uplifting. This is a scene I will have to skip on most my repeat viewings because I know it will leave me in a funk for days.

It's kind of silly, I'm not really big on the show though. Maybe I just wasn't getting into it, not sure what it was, but what I recall is that it was kind of... annoying to watch

The scene of Moira as the crow woman had me laughing so fucking hard. It might be my favorite humorous scene in the show lol

Okay, so I re-caught two episodes (I seen 'em on Netflix or whatever already, though) and my original assessment still stands. It was the episode with Ivan the baker (and then, I'm assuming the one after that) and I just really didn't laugh much at all except for when they threw in this line

"Honestly, I'm only interested in you for your muffins"

because... lol unexpected

Oh, also, that cinnamon (donut? muffin?) looked amazing

But anyway, the characters go through a lot of spouting random nonsense that isn't really funny to me, much of which I can't really keep up with, and the show is noticeably centered around the fact that everyone in it is over the top in terms of being daft/self-absorbed.

John is the only sane person in the show

(there's nothing wrong with insane people, I just need them to be, at the least, interesting, or entertaining)

Also, could they not afford the apostrophe in Schitt$ Creek? I guess, cause that's kind of what the show is foremost about.
