I'm having an issue with Samurai Warriors 2. I just bought the digital version, but now it doesn't launch with the Xtreme Legends content(expansion pack stuff). I've tried a few different things.

Has anyone had this issue with other games? This is on 360 btw

I own the disc version of the base game, but I can't find it so I bought it digitally.

Now, it only launches the base game, and not the XL version.

And I don't have an option to launch XL in my games list. It's only an add-on. I don't know how to make my game register it.

Hard to say with it being an older title. Maybe someone on the xbox boards would know but you might have to actually talk to someone from Microsoft support to see if there is a solution.

Yeah, I was afraid of that. I just feel like I'll get told it's Koei's problem and vice-versa.

Have you tried looking for the DLC in the Xbox store under the games name? You might have to download the content even though you already own it

Yep. I've downloaded it multiple times now.

Both the game and DLC.

I even cleared my old saves.

Could be a licence issue and you have to transfer it to your Xbox

you just go into account settings on the xbox and find license transfer

It worked! Goddamn, I can't tell you how happy I am. What's funny is that when I first hooked up the system, I had gotten back a lot of arcade games that I purchased but turned into trials presumably because of the same issue. According to my system, I already had the license for the expansion pack, but I redownloaded it from there anyways just to try it.

Well, that worked, except I lost all those arcade games again lol

Pretty frustrating, but it doesn't matter. I'm so freakin' happy I can play this again. It's pretty fucked on emulators with certain levels crashing and my PS2(if I still have it) is non-functional.

2 is one of the single best games of the entire Warriors series. Just quality and content all around. If you have the means, it is absolutely worth it.
