So, I finished all of the characters chapter 1. Do I need to grind to the recommended level to proceed with Chapter 2? I have been using Cyrus ability to lower encounter rates, so I am around 4-5 levels below the earliest recommended level for Chapter 2 at this point.

you dont need to be there, especially for chapter 2 which is mostly easy all around, but some of the chapter 3s are motherfuckers, especially the one with the lowest displayed recommended level

I felt Cyrus's chapter 2 was very tough underleveled (to the point of deciding to set it aside and do a few others before coming back to it but the rest were pretty easy.
