I haven't played it, but just looking at some screenshots and hearing some of the music it's just unmistakably the same world... love it

Granted, but it becomes a game about being a paladin by acting good in all circumstances, no violence is involved and you just end up going around performing acts of kindness.

Paladin's Quest and Lufia 2 are among my favourite RPGs...

And both have very STRANGE glitches:

In Paladin's Quest if you name Chezni a lower case e "e", the game breaks pretty quickly... but you can get sort of a bit into the intro

And Lufia 2 lets you become level 0 immortal simply by switching the sound from Stereo to Mono :V

I think the only SNES rpg I haven't played (that exists... so no Terranigma or Rudra's Treasure) is Secret of the Stars... ... but I'm told it really sucks

It isn't amazing compared to others - but if you like classic Dragon Quest it isn't bad.

It does suck. Like the gameplay is your typical turn based RPG so it's fun in that way but the story was bad and was one of the worst translations I have ever read. Was Paladin's Quest 2 ever fan translated?

I guess at this point most games got translated. I remember having a lot of fun on emulator way back then on some games that had no translations at the time.
