29 y/o Miami Heat Centre, Meyers Leonard was heard screaming a shocking anti-semitic slur during a live Call of Duty game stream on TWITCH where he yelled "F***ing cowards. Don't f***ing snipe me, you f***ing k-word b****"

Leonard is then seen taking a call before excusing himself saying he needs to speak to his wife which presumably he was called out on his channel and someone he knew told him about it

Dailymail has reached out to the Heats team for a response

He already raised eyebrows during the NBA's 2019-20 restart outside Orlando last summer when he was the only player who STOOD during the national anthem while others knelt in protest against racism

He explained his decision stating he could be a "patriot" while supporting BLM. He said "I am with the Black Lives Matter movement and i love and support the military nd my brother and the people who have fought to defend the country i love fought for our freedom and rights"

The 7 foot former University of Illinois star was taken with the 11th pick of the 2012 NBA Draft by Portland where he played most of his career before moving to Miami where he has earned nearly 60 million so far

The Heat has a team option on his contract meaning they can cut him and save 10 million should they do so.

Leonard also has a decent following on twitch with over 64,000 followers as he said in an interview he is a "gamer" at heart

I imagine it happens organically by hanging out with racists, although honestly a lot of racial slurs people pick up just from watching Jerry Springer (which I hadn't realized only went off the air a few years ago, although they probably toned down what the guests did)

I could understand maybe with some words, but that's a really unusual place for somebody's mind to go. However, I guess once gamers stop saying anti-gay slurs, can't get with anti-woman slurs, and anti-black slurs are out of the picture, they're trying to branch out. And while calling somebody an asshole doesn't have the same punch any more -- which is why they go for other words to get under their skin -- it's not like this particular, really weird word choice does that any better.

Not really.

Undesirables typically are a small percentage of any fan base, however the bigger the fanbase the higher that base number will be.

Take something as popular as Call of Duty and bam...you have plenty of examples of toxic behavior because the sheer amount of people that play.

Guess you ignored the part where he stood out like a sore thumb for not showing support for BLM, despite his pretty bullshit talk. And did you just assume all Jews are just white too? And, no, I didn't watch it, I wasn't interested in picking up racist slurs.
