Why you gotta do my girl Tasha like that

I did not expect that at all. It wasn't even the season finale! I hope the decision of Denise Crosby leaving the show was mutual.

Like TOS, some of it is very interesting and some of it has aged like something that doesn't age well.

Is Picard even a good captain like I'm so unsure about the characters of this show lol. If they kill Deanna or Worf I will riot. Wesley can leave anytime he wants.

Wesley gets a lot better. They overrely on having nobody trust Wesley's intution in S1 to the point that it makes the rest of the crew look like assholes/incompetent.

S1 is so weird after seeing the rest of it. Worf in a red uniform wtf...

S2 is a little rocky (the first episode really sucks lol, that's the first Riker beard episode even though people say growing the beard was when the show became good, they just mean S1 was bad) but once you get to say Measure of A Man, that's an episode you'll really see the potential of TNG and why Picard is a great captain

S3 onwards is awesome. One of my favorite shows now! I just finished it a week ago.

Denise Crosby asked to get off the show, basically she gambled on her career and lost. Believe it or not though, they find a lot of creative ways to get her to guest star surprisingly often after this point.

Some people argue that having one less character to juggle helped improve the writing for TNG. The standout is Worf as security chief, going from a nobody to one of the show's most explored characters.

Season 1 and 2 kind of sucks for me.

However I did like her dying like that. So many times extras just die like it is nothing. No big build up or anything like that. People just die. It was interesting see that happening to a main character.

TNG S1 is pretty bad yeah, it gets a lot better

and yeah, kid me was pissed when they killed of Tasha so suddenly like that
you'll see Denise later on, though...

Yes Picard is a good captain, if you've made it to Skin of evil you can hold out through the end of S1, by S2 you will start to really like picard and get some amazing episodes.

I always thought it was a bad makeup attempt at like a tar splotch from tar man. I never really was sure what they were going for with that, it looked like someone drew a cartoonish puddle on her face in black marker.

Her speech in one of the Q (I think) episodes about how Starfleet saved her moved me. Also warrior women are cool.

I can see how that would be the case. Sometimes they've had characters missing in episodes with zero explanation when they really should be present. I guess they can't be on duty all the time.

That's nice to hear about Worf, he's becoming a favorite. I really liked his episode with the other Klingons. The Klingon death cry made me tear up lol. Wasn't sure if Star Trek was capable of pulling on my emotions until then.

It bugs me how people are like half spoiling things for TC.

Let them enjoy the show without saying who comes back or who gets bigger.

It's a great show.
