Amount of guns in circulation and relative ease of access to guns is definitely a big contributing factor. But there weren't many mass shootings like this in the 70s or 80s despite guns still being everywhere. Hell, kids even took guns to school for shooting practice lol. More people will die over this holiday weekend with more perpetrators involved in any major city than the number of people who were killed in this Florida shooting, virtually guaranteed. I'm not saying that it isn't important, but the lack of concern shown for the vastly larger number of spread out deaths compared to the ones the news makes headlines out of makes me wonder if the people mocking the thoughts and prayers crowd really care anymore than they do. <cite>Reigning_King posted [p:954463252] in Another da...
